5 Must-See Attractions in Krabi

A tropical paradise where every sunrise is a burst of colour, where naturally rugged shorelines and dramatic limestone karsts remain unspoiled, and a laid-back vibe prevails – Krabi lets you slow your pace of life so you can form enduring memories with those that mean the most.
.
With so much to see and do, it can be a little overwhelming — so we’ve compiled a list of the top attractions to give you a helping hand!

Hong Island

A half-day trip to neighbouring Koh Hong is a must-do during your stay at Amari Vogue Krabi, as it’s only a 20-minute long-tail boat ride away. A pure, natural paradise, Koh Hong has clear, pristine waters, lush greenery, and clean, white sands. It’s a great place to explore. Plus, the sea is ideal for snorkelling if you’d like to see the ocean inhabitants

Dragon Crest Mountain (Hang Nak nature trail)

Take the path less travelled and discover a new side of Krabi with the 4km scenic trail to the top of Ngon Nak Mountain. At 565 meters above the sea level you’ll enjoy breathtaking, panoramic views of Krabi’s Ao Nang, Hong and Yao islands all at the same time. Best of all, the trail entrance is within walking distance of Amari Vogue Krabi

Tiger Cave Temple

Set amidst a beautiful forest this is one of the Kingdom’s most interesting temples, and so named because of a rock outgrowth that resembles a tiger’s claw. The main attraction is the “footprint of the Buddha” atop a 300-metre limestone tower, which topped by a huge gilded Buddha statue, and accessible via a 1,272 stairway.

Crystal Lagoon

Located in the Khao Pra-Bang Kram Wildlife Sanctuary, it’s a 1.5 km hike over a wooden boardwalk and along lush trails through the tropical rainforest to get there. The highlight is the Emerald Pool, famous for its warm, crystal clear emerald green waters. It’s a beautiful place to swim, if it is not overrun by tourists.

Phra Nang Cave

A short boat ride from Railay Beach is Phra Nang Beach, a secluded stretch of sand also accessible by a precarious cliff-side walk. Here at the base of a soaring cliff is the small cavern known as Princess or Diamond Cave. For a nominal fee, one can walk along a boardwalk into it where the rock formations glitter liked they are studded with diamonds.
