Year after year, as the fireworks light up the sky and the clock strikes midnight, we set goals for our future selves – usually very big goals. Sometimes, by making these huge resolutions, we underestimate the difficulties that comes with keeping them (but, that’s okay – we’re only human!).

Here’s our suggestion: simplify. You can accomplish so much more when you make simpler, yet meaningful goals for yourself. Not only will you live a happier year, by 2017, you can proudly say you’ve made the most of 2016! Here are 7 easy New Year’s resolutions you’ll definitely be able to keep.

  1. Take Care Of Your Body and Mind

It’s so easy to get caught up in work and completely forget about taking care of yourself! Call up good friends or hit them up with a text inviting them out for dinner or a couple of drinks. Dedicate one day or evening a month to showing your loved ones how much you appreciate them by simply making time for them. Remember: a year passes by a lot quicker than we think.

There are many different ways to catch up, but nothing beats good times and a delicious dinner, maybe at Henry J.
