Find a taste of Phuket in the heart of Bangkok at Prai Raya.

If you’re looking for something a little different for dinner tonight, we have just the place for you! Owner Prai brings her family’s Phuket heritage to the capital in the form of Prai Raya. Located a short walk from BTS Nana in Sukhumvit Soi 8, the restaurant offers authentic flavours of the South to all of its visitors.

Old Town Phuket

The restaurant seems like a colourful house at first glance, but once you walk inside, you’ll find yourself back in Old Town Phuket. With the vintage decor, high windows and spacious settings, Prai Raya brings comfort and a classic charm together perfectly.

Simple, peaceful and perfect for taking pictures, Prai Raya is more than a gimmick. The quality of the ingredients and the technique put into each dish is outstanding. Aside from the deliciousness, you’ll find balance in its presentation as well.

Recommended Dishes

Whether you’re craving spicy or sweet, each dish stays true to the original southern recipes, bursting with a unique richness. The menu at Prai Raya boasts dozens of dishes and desserts, so you’ll never get bored of the options here.

Some of our favourite items on the menu included Moo Hong (Phuket-style braised pork belly with garlic and pepper), the sweet and sour Deep Fried Asian Sea Bass with Lemongrass and Tamarind Sauce, a spicy, robust Crab-meat Yellow Curry with Rice Vermicelli and a very special dish: River Prawn stir-fried in Curry Powder.
