Sometimes you just want to escape the heat and there is no better way to do this than by hitting Pattaya’s shopping scene. Designer brands, local crafts and an endless array of people to watch makes these destinations worthwhile sanctuaries in Thailand’s resort playground.

So where are the best places to shop in Pattaya?

Central Festival Pattaya Beach – The newest addition to Pattaya’s shopping scene – Central Festival – boasts over 200 stylish fashion outlets and boutiques. Its prime location on Beach Road directly on the shoreline also makes it a cool place to relax with tasty cuisine at one of the many trendy dining venues.
The Avenue Pattaya – If you’re hip this is the place to be seen in Pattaya. Reminiscent of Bangkok’s supercool J Avenue – this destination features the usual suspects – including Starbucks, Ay Bon Pain, iBerry, and a funky wine bar. You can also catch a movie at the Cineplex or roll the rock at Blu-O Bowling and Karaoke Club. Head over to Second Road to find this hipster hangout.
Factory Outlet Mall Pattaya – If you’re looking for a little more shopping and less showing off – head to this place where you can find name brand goods on sale all the time. Golf enthusiasts will love this shopping smorgasbord – as it is home to one of the largest golf outlets in Thailand. This pink coloured complex is hard to miss from the highway.
Royal Garden Plaza – You’ll definitely notice the flame red airplane sticking out of the side of this shopping mall. Here you’ll find the usual chain stores and boutique shops. But what makes it worth a visit is the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum – where you can check out all kinds of weird and crazy exhibits. Head to Beach Road to visit this Pattaya landmark.
Pattaya Floating Market – For some old school Thai style shopping check out this recently opened Pattaya attraction. Here you’ll find a Four Regions Floating Market where various facets of Thai culture from back in the day are represented with all kinds of locally made goods. This place has already established itself as one of the best floating markets in Thailand. Head south on Sukhumvit Road to find this cultural oasis.
